Discernment, Intuition & Personal Safety is an educational small-group experience focused on understanding intuition, discernment, and the internal signals that support effective decision-making and personal safety.
This group is guided in part by The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker. The text serves as a shared reference point for exploring intuition, discernment, and personal safety, rather than as a curriculum to be mastered or applied rigidly.
Participants are supported in engaging with the ideas thoughtfully and practically, with emphasis on understanding rather than instruction or prescription.
Understanding intuition as a form of information, not anxiety
Differentiating discernment from fear-based thinking
Recognizing internal signals related to safety and decision-making
Developing trust in one’s perceptions without over- or under-reacting
Examining social conditioning that interferes with personal safety
Responding to situations with greater clarity, steadiness, and choice
This group combines guided study, reflection, and relational learning within a small, facilitated virtual setting. Core material is introduced through shared reading and discussion, then explored through lived experience and group dialogue.
Groups are intentionally limited in size to support safety, clarity, and meaningful engagement. Participation is invitational and self-paced, with an emphasis on learning alongside others rather than performance or disclosure.
This group may be a good fit for people who want to better understand their own intuition and decision-making processes, and who are interested in responding to themselves with greater accuracy and trust.
It may be especially relevant for those who find themselves second-guessing their perceptions, minimizing discomfort, or feeling unsure about how to interpret internal signals in relational or situational contexts.
This group may not be a good fit for those seeking treatment, crisis support, or highly directive guidance around personal safety concerns.
Discernment, Intuition & Personal Safety is facilitated by Anne Lindyberg. Her work is informed by graduate training in psychology, licensure in professional counseling, and long-standing engagement with educational and group-based practice.
The facilitation style is reflective and collaborative, emphasizing clarity, ethical boundaries, and the development of self-trust without pressure, exaggeration, or dependency.
This is an educational group focused on learning, reflection, and capacity-building. It is not a therapeutic or clinical service.
No. While the group is guided by The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker, material is introduced within the group, and participants are supported in engaging with it at an accessible pace.
Sharing is always invitational. Participants are encouraged to engage in ways that feel appropriate and respectful of their own boundaries.
